Tuscawilla ~ Winter Springs

Tuscawilla is a planned unit development community located in Winter Springs, FL., just 25 minutes Northeast of Downtown Orlando via the 417 (Greenway). Originally built in 1969, it is one of the first planned communities in Seminole County and is home to more than 11,000 residents. Winter Springs is home to A-rated schools, and Tuscawilla residents have access to two parks, a nature trail,  bike, walking and horse trails, a restaurant, convenience stores, a fire station and a full service Country Club.

There is a wonderful mix of older and newer homes available, in almost 20 different communities, from condos, villas, townhouses, small to large single family homes and grand estates. The majority of Tuscawilla falls under Tuscawilla Homeowners Association, with voluntary membership, while many of the other communities within have their own. These communities include:  Chelsea Woods, Country Club Village, Georgetowne, Howell Creek Reserve and Eagles Watch, Glen Eagle, Reserve at Tuscawilla, Wedgewood Tennis Villas, and Wicklow Green.

Tuscawilla Country Club offers many wonderful amenities with full golf, social and tennis memberships available. Members can take advantage of the newly renovated 18 hole Golf Course, a Junior Olympic swimming pool, eight tennis courts , pro shops, and work out facilities. The picturesque, large southern-style plantation clubhouse features a  wrap around veranda, perfect for weddings, private parties, tournaments and scenic views.

Within a 10 minute drive, residents can enjoy many nearby shopping and restaurant choices: Winter Springs Towne Center (located at the heart of downtown Winter Springs), the Oviedo Mall / Regal Oviedo Mall Stadium 22 movie theater, Hobby Lobby, Publix Shopping Center and new for 2014, The Fresh Market.
