Avalon Park ~ East Orlando

Avalon Park is a community in Orlando, located 30 minutes east of Downtown Orlando, and 10 miles from the University of Central Florida. It’s based on the principles of New Urbanism, where homes are organized into villages with the town center at it’s core, evoking the feeling of small town life. Each village has it’s own community cabana and pool at it’s center and 250 acres of man-made lakes and walking/biking trails available to residents. Avalon Park has 3400 homes: traditional single family homes, town  home, condominium, and town center apartments. New construction town homes began in 2013 near the town center.

Currently zoned for residents of Avalon Park  are five elementary schools, one middle school, one high school, and one technical school.

In addition to the many restaurants, shops, supermarket and businesses located in the Town Center, the Waterford Lakes Town Center outdoor mall, numerous restaurants and Regal Waterford Lakes Stadium 20 & IMAX movie theater are 15 minutes away.

Home prices range from $180,000-$430,000 for single family homes and $135,000-$175,000 for condominiums/town homes.
